Chukwudi Nwaogu
Double PhD degrees: in Geoinformatics and Cartography from University of Palacky, Olomouc (UPOL), Czech Republic, and in Ecology from Czech University of Life Sciences (CULS) Prague, Czech Republic. Double Masters: in Nature Conservation and in GIS from CULS and University of Lagos, Nigeria, respectively. Diploma certificates in Teachers and Trainers from Cambridge University, UK. BSc in Geography and Regional Planning from University of Uyo, Nigeria.
Chukwudi Nwaogu has passion for teaching and has been teaching for the past twenty (20) years at Secondary and tertiary educational levels in Europe and Nigeria. Prior his visit to USP for a postdoc programme, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Environmental Management, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Nigeria. He has authored and co-authored some number of papers published in impact factor journals and conferences.
His areas of interest are soil and plant ecology, biogeography and environmental management, cartography, GIS applications in natural resources management, climate and land use change studies.
